Since our last report in 2006, the following grants were awarded:
(1) Contributions to the Bethlehem Alliance for continuing internet2 videoconferencing networking in Palestine to help meet medical and educational goals. [Jim Whitlock]
(2) Contributing funds and "I Leave PeacePrints" bumperstickers to the delegation of young people from St. Martin in the Field Lutheran Church to the Holy Land. [Fr. Earle King]
(3) Contribution for educational work around organizing for peace and justice in Argentina. [Colin O'Malley]
(4) Contribution to Pastors for Peace to support local "caravanistas" delivering humanitarian aid to Cuba. [Cliff Cawthon]
(5) Co-sponsorship of presentation, "Reconciliation in a Post-9-11 World," by the VISIONS for a Better World Committee of the WNY Peace Center at the International Institute of Buffalo. [Mary Kay Jou]
(6) Contribution to Indigenous Women's Initiatives for its second annual Jigonsaseh event: speakers on Jigonsaseh, awards to local (Haudenosaunee territory) Women of Peace, and luncheon. [Agnes Williams]
(7) Support for the local Iraqi Student Project-Hussam al-Mukhtar attending Canisius College. [Bill Marx, Pax Christi WNY]
